Sharing words, connecting hearts
Welcome !
Our Japanese language school,
Hokkaido AskGate Japanese Language School –
Sapporo Campus opened in April 2018.
We are a small school, but we hope to support our students as they follow their dreams, and help them to enjoy their daily lives as they study Japanese here in Sapporo.
We are looking forward to meeting lots of new people who want to study!
Educational Goals
- We aim to equip students with practical Japanese language skills: reading, listening, writing, and speaking. We will assist students in studying all four of these skills, helping them to acquire the Japanese that they need to achieve their goals.
- We aim to equip students with both knowledge and cultural understanding, including understanding of the cultural contexts behind the Japanese language, as well as a deeper understanding of foreign cultures in general.
- We aim to equip students with the Japanese that they need in order to express themselves independently; students will build the skills that they need both for self-expression and to independently work toward their goals.
